How You Can Help

  • Make a donation  – no matter how big or small, every penny counts.
  • Befriend a bear for a year – for yourself, a friend or a member of the family and receive a photo of your new friend in a uniquely designed frame.
  • Spread the word about Animals Asia’s campaigns to your friends and family, you can contact the UK office if you would like  leaflets to distribute to your friends and family.
  • Join a local Support Group (like us) in your area.
  • Sign up to Animals Asia’s Newsletters to be kept up to date on their news and events.
  • Sign and send letters to UK and Chinese authorities on the subject of animal welfare throughout Asia.
  • Organise a collection at work and tell your work colleagues about Animals Asia’s work.
  • Organise a talk within your local area and ask one of us to come along and give the talk to help raise awareness of our work.
  • Or maybe, you know of a group in your area that already meets regularly, such as the Women’s Institute or Rotary Clubs etc. Maybe they would like one of us to do a talk about Animals Asia.
  • Attend a Support Group fund raising event in your local area or one of the official Animals Asia events taking place around the country


  • Jewellery Recycling:  Use their Freepost Service.  The UK Office can provide addressed envelopes or simply address your envelope to “FREEPOST CENTRAL RECYCLING”.  Don’t forget to write ‘Animals Asia’ on the envelope & include your name & address if you would like your details to be passed on to the charity
  • The Phone Coop:  Join their Affinity Scheme and donate your points to Animals Asia.  Please visit their website or Tel: 0845 4589000 quoting our reference ‘AF0271’.


    Animals Asia has teamed up with so you can create your own personal fundraising webpage. Whatever your event, you can create a page that makes it easier to reach your fundraising target. Plus, as justgiving automatically reclaim 28 per cent tax on every donation from UK taxpayers more money goes directly to the moon bears, cats and dogs.

    Setting up a justgiving fundraising page is quick, easy and fun to do!  To set up your page just click HERE and then click on ‘create your own page’.

    Make sure you complete the ‘Event’ field when you set up the page so that  we can allocate the money you raise to your specific event.  Once you’re up and running, you can email details to all your supporters so they can donate though the justgiving secure server – taking the hassle out of chasing sponsors for their donation or worrying about processing cash and cheques.

  •  This is your chance to raise money for us just by searching the web through  Everyclick is an internet search engine that donates half its revenue to charity. Every time you use this search engine, you will be raising money for us.

  • eBay:  Animals Asia Foundation is now a registered eBay charity – this means that when you sell goods on eBay, you can donate all or part of your proceeds to usAnd as well as raising money for us, it will also help raise awareness with potential buyers and may even increase your selling price as buyers like to see their money going towards a good cause – what better cause than saving the moon bears and working to end dog and cat eating.  To get started all you need to do is select “Animals Asia Foundation” as your chosen charity when listing your item (you do this in section 3 – “Pictures and Details”) and choose the percentage of proceeds to go towards our work.
  •  Easyfundraising is a shopping directory listing some of your favourite stores including Argos, Next, Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys R Us, HMV as well as over 600 other top name shops and brands. Whenever you shop with any one of them using the links provided on the easyfundraising site, you’ll generate a donation for us of up to 15 per cent of the purchase price. It’s free to register and you won’t pay a penny more for your shopping, in fact you can even save money as many retailers give discounts, special offers and ‘e-vouchers’ exclusive to easyfundraising. All you need to do is register for free at HERE and use easyfundraising every time you shop online.

  •  Another great search engine donating a percentage of their revenue to us is It’s free to use and if you make just 10 searches a day, you could raise around £20 a year for us – what could be easier?
  • Give or take:  Give or Take is an online marketplace where members can purchase goods from all the leading online retailers including many familiar high street names such as John Lewis, Tesco, WH Smith, Dixons and Currys. Shoppers buy what they want from one or more stores, and check out on the retailers’ websites as they normally would. However, instead of that being the end of the shopping process, the relevant amount of ‘cashback’ you have earned from your purchase will be donated to us.  To find out more sign up at and make sure to click ‘donate to Animals Asia’.
  • Used stamps:  Please send all your used stamps to Animals Asia UK,3 Ashleigh Meadow, Tregondale Farm, Menheniot, Cornwall, PL14 3RG
  • Utility warehouse:  The Utility Warehouse could offer you significant savings on your utility bills, plus they will donate up to 5 per cent of your monthly bill to Animals Asia. When you join the Utility Warehouse nothing changes at your home – you get the same gas and electricity in the same pipes and wires – but you’ll be raising money for Animals Asia whenever you use the phone, or make a cup of tea! The Utility Warehouse guarantees that its services will always be competitively priced against other suppliers.  Customers can make unlimited free calls at any time of day, to any fixed telephone number in the UK depending on the number of different services taken (e.g. Home Phone, Mobile, Gas, Electricity, or Internet).  The more services you take, the more money you will save.
  • Regeneris –mobile phone recycling:  For small volumes of handsets (no more than three at a time), use their Freepost Service.  Simply address your envelope to “FREEPOST REGENERSIS”.  Don’t forget to indicate on the envelope either our unique reference number TL1744, or write ‘Animals Asia Foundation’. For larger volumes (30 handsets or more), contact Kevin Daw on Tel: 01708 683427 and he will arrange to send you a collection container to pick them up when you are ready.
  • Coin Co International PLC:  Coin co accepts coins and notes in any currency (foreign and British) and converts them into valuable funds for us.  All you have to do is send your unwanted loose change and left over holiday cash, remembering to include a note explaining that you would like Animals Asia to receive the proceeds and giving our full contact details: Animals Asia UK, 3 Ashleigh Meadow, Tregondale Farm, Menheniot, Cornwall, PL14 3RG. Send you coins to Coin Co International Plc, 56-58 Victoria Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15 9LR. That’s all there is to it!  Coin Co will sort the currencies and then pay us the proceeds directly, less their administration fee.  They are very happy to collect larger amounts of coins or to send out jiffy bags for coins weighing less than five kilos. For very small amounts please send them directly in the post, or recorded delivery if you prefer. If you would like Coin Co. to send us details of your donation, please include your own contact details when sending the currency to them.  We will endeavour to send you confirmation when we have received your donation, however, we have been advised by Coin Co that this process can sometimes take a few weeks.
